Fall Favorites: 10 Cozy Reasons To Fall

Fall

Fall Fabulous

Fall means fabulous! Wouldn’t you agree? There are tons of reasons why I appreciate the Fall, but the weather is at the top of the list, especially after summer in Texas. The Fall season is officially here, and the cooler temperature has arrived.

Well, here in Texas, seasons aren’t official until the temperatures match. For example, here in Texas, it’s been hot with Summer temperatures in the Winter, so when it cools down during the Fall, we know it’s officially the Fall.

So, since I got excited about the Fall and the cooler temperatures, I thought, why not go ahead and make a cozy list of reasons why I enjoy the Fall.

Ten Cozy Reasons To Fall For Fall

I. Sweaters

Fashion is fun, and who doesn’t love a reason to get stylish. Now, while I’m no expert on fashion, I do love a comfortable, fashionable outfit — for example, a pretty sweater, distressed jeans, and a set of cute boots to match, which brings me to another reason why I appreciate the Fall.

II. Cute Cozy Fall Boots

Boots! Yes! Who doesn’t appreciate boots? Whether they’re ankle boots, knee boots, over the knees, or country style western boots. I enjoy a cute, fashionable, and comfortable boot.

III. Football

Tailgate time! Fall means Football and lots of screaming! Whether you’re at the stadium, tailgating or watching the game at home. There’s no denying in America the F stands for Football until the basketball season starts. Then it’s all about the sports and the winning teams. Either way, I’m all in!

IV. Fall Decorations

Another favorite for me is admiring all the seasonal decorations. Autumn colors are some of my favorite shades of choice, so I enjoy seeing all the orange leaves and of course, the pumpkins. The fancy wreaths and farmhouse decorations are delightful to see.

V. Holiday Parties

Harvest time means party time, especially for our wine drinkers. From seasonal festivals, school parties, Happy Harvest parties, and Company Thanksgiving parties, somewhere someone is having a party. And don’t forget, we all have our own family traditional Thanksgiving parties.

VI. Cozy Weather

Fall means cuddle weather is on the horizon. Again in Texas, we have hot summers, and Fall means cooler temperatures, which we all can enjoy. So, I’m looking forward to cuddling up in the cozy.

VII. Tasty Food Recipes

Happy Harvest! Another on the top of my list of favorites is the delicious food that Fall brings. Where do I start? There’s so many to name, but a few of my favorites include, Chicken & Dumplings, Fall soups, anything Sweet Potato, Pumpkin pie, and glazed carrots.

VIII. Seasonal Scents & Aromas

My favorite scents that remind me of the warmth and seasonal changes include Cedar wood, Frankincense, and warm cinnamon.

IX. Family Time

Harvest time means family time, and of course, I’m always spending time with my family at home, but Autumn tends to bring us together with our not so near family. Especially if you’re like me and have a child away at college. Thanksgiving Fall school break brings them home for an enjoyable moment.

X. Travel

I enjoy road trips, and during this season, the kids go on Thanksgiving break from school, so a brief family fun vacation sounds refreshing. For example, you can pack up the kids, plan a visit, and take a road trip to visit long distant family.

I almost forgot to mention another one of my favorite reasons for enjoying the season is the time of giving. We seem to get a jump start and get in gear for the holidays. Giving, of course, is year-round, but I’ve noticed even for me that Fall brings more opportunities to give. Also, some of us start our Christmas shopping before Winter arrives.

Now, this is just a few of my favorite reasons why I enjoy the season. Certainly, you have your list of reasons why you enjoy it. And, with all the chaos and noise around us, it’s easy to get caught up and carried away by bad news. When that happens, it’s easy to lose view of the small gifts of life right in front of us. So, be encouraged to take a moment away from all the bad news and intently look toward the gifts God has purposefully placed in your life.
