Fearless Rules For Weight Loss
Did you wake up this morning fabulous and fearless? I sure hope you did but if you woke up just fabulous and feel that you’re struggling with the fearless then keep reading.
I am about to share with you seven bold ways to help you lose some unwanted weight. First, let me start by saying I am sharing with you what I did and the actual steps that I took and put in place to see results. What are my results? Glad you asked, today as I am writing this I have lost 30 lbs and counting.
I feel excellent, I have new energy levels, which I especially need since I do have three little ones all under the age of five. Also, my eating habits and hunger have changed significantly as a result. And one of the best things about this is I am still working towards my goals and total transformation. Again, I’m currently following these same principles I’m about to share with you.
Healthy Living
Healthy living is a lifestyle; of course, it’s the decision to live a life with our health in mind. For instance, we make decisions based on the question “How will this benefit me, my mind, my body, and my soul?” After all, the whole point and reason for us wanting to reach our goals, lose weight, and get healthy are all about living and enjoying our life.
Additionally, we work towards our goals not only for ourselves but for our family. The truth is they need us healthy, and at our best. Yes for me the purpose of losing weight is to look great, feel good and have enough energy for my family while all these reasons are good. However, it’s more about transformation, change, and becoming the best version of me.
My entire goal is changing and allowing me to find the best me, the best version of me, now don’t get me wrong I am not talking about being perfect. What I’m talking about is total completeness as a living breathing person. Which is not only looking to par in my clothes but my inner self being complete with who I am down deep inside of me and having that overflow to who I am on the outside.
Now, before I finally share the seven fearless rules, let me define for you what I mean by fearless. By fearless I mean, bold, courageous, and without fear.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” II Timothy 1:7
7 Fearless Rules
Well since I’m a fan of basketball, I added a little March Madness flavor. So, as I continue my journey let me share with you seven fearless ways to start on your journey.
1. Get In The Game
Decide to get in the game! To play the game, you have to get in the game. Now I know for some this sounds truly simple.
So let me be clear on what I’m stating. Surely you can say I want to lose weight then eat a salad, go to the gym, feel pumped, then in about a week and a half fall off the wagon.
Thus the decision I’m suggesting is to make up your mind, go bold, get rid of the fear once and for all and go for the goal. Make up your mind, to decide to change, to get after your goal full head-on.
2. Pass The Ball
Eat Healthier; Whether you start big or small, you’re going to have to change the way you eat. Let’s be honest with ourselves we can’t eat the foods we ate as kids and think we can lose weight and keep it off. For example, the usual routine of what you eat should center around the benefits you receive from the food you eat and not just on how it tastes.
3. Shoot The Three
Start Exercising; Certainly, the key is to find you a place to start, start somewhere. For example, do twenty-five to fifty jumping jacks, go for a brisk walk or climb some steps, and get a jump rope, and jump rope.
Also if you have little ones and you find it difficult to go to the gym don’t let that stop you. For instance, you can put on some music and cut a rug with the kiddos. Well, you get the point, yes it’s true if you want to lose weight then you want to find time to start exercising.
In other words, let’s get it, let’s get fit and get that heart pumping and get on the move!
4. Be A Team Player
So, of course, you want to surround yourself with others who are going in the same direction as you. Such as people who are currently living a healthy lifestyle or those who have the same or similar goals. Why is this important? Primarily, because of accountability.
First of all, these are the individuals who will help keep you focused on the purpose and the win. Now, if you’re reading this saying, “I don’t have an accountability partner or support group,” then start a group of your own or find one to join. Again, remember change is not easy, but change is worth it. So, put on courage and go for the win!
5. Go Hard In The Paint
Stay courageous and consistent, as with any goal you are trying to achieve, consistency is the key. So if you want to see results then whatever you start, you have to continue regularly until it’s a habit. Therefore set yourself up for success by setting high expectations to aim to be consistent for at least 30 days.
6. Celebrate
Yes, please celebrate your progress; even the smallest achievement. For instance, get happy for yourself, no matter how small the improvement. So keep a journal or chart your goals by doing this you can easily see and have a record of your achievements. I keep all my progress, from gym workouts to actual weigh-ins.
7. Play To The End
Lastly, do not give up! Above everything, do not quit, and do not give up on your goals and your dreams. As I remind myself let me tell you, you are well-able and well worth the goal you want to achieve. Again, to play the game, you have to get in the game so go ahead and make the decision to get in the game.
Conclusion
In conclusion, no matter how much weight you want to lose the fundamental principles are still the same. The first and most important rule to reaching your goal is to decide what your goal is and then set out to achieve it. Be fearless, be bold; join me in the choice for a change! Join me in becoming the best version of me!
