A Moment Of Inspiration
There’s never a time too soon for words of inspiration and encouragement. Well, I have to say with so much going on all around us in the world today, we definitely could use a moment of inspiration.
Well, I’m sure any one of us could easily find a reason if we wanted to, to just give up and throw in the towel because of the challenges we face. For instance, have you ever found yourself feeling like you were at your wit’s end?
As if you were right at the edge, right at the end of your rope? And if one more obstacle or challenging situation occurred, that would be it, and you would fold, break or come crashing down.
I understand I get it as a busy mom and wife, I understand and know from experience the feeling of tiredness. Especially as a parent to a special needs child, I know this feeling all too well. From doctor’s appointments, unexpected hospital stays and dealing with all the other issues that come with it.
Fight For Your Vision
Yes, I nod in agreement to those pressures and the temptation of giving in to the shadow of defeat. But even though the temptation comes, it doesn’t mean we have to accept it or allow it to overcome us.
I’m often asked, “how do I do it, how do I keep a smile on my face even with so much so often going on around me?” Well, the answer to that question is simple; I fight. I fight back against whatever is trying to take away my right to have peace.
Hence we have a right to fight against it and rise above the feeling of defeat and burn out. You have a right to fight for whatever is rightfully yours. Whatever vision, hope, or dream you have inside of, fight for it. Whether it’s your peace, your health, or the desire to be better than you were yesterday. Go for it! The victory is yours for the taking.
Stay In The Fight
So, if even at this moment you feel like you’re almost down for the count I want to encourage you to stay in the fight and finish the twelfth round. Here are seven inspiring and powerful ways to stay in the fight and gain victory over the temptation of defeat.
Seven Inspiring and Powerful Ways To Rise Above The Burn Out
1. Pray
Prayer reminds us to look away from ourselves and the problems we face. And seek our loving heavenly Father for help and strength to rise above the challenge.
2. Walk In Faith
Keep pushing and pressing forward! See the twelfth round and see yourself as the champion you are. For instance, my weight loss goals are in front of me; the final results are imprints in my mind, which encourages me to stay on course even on those days when it feels like my goals are a long way off.
3. Speak Life
As a child of God, we’re created in His image and given the same power of creative speaking. The ability to create the life we want to live by the words we speak. (ref. Proverbs 18:21)
4. Optimistic Attitude
The position of our heart is shown by what we say and by how we act. By choosing to have hope in spite of the challenges we face, we then place ourselves in the position of confidence.
We have faith that things will get better, and we will get through it, and everything will work out in our favor. Rather than have a negative attitude, which is an attitude of no hope.
5. Patience
Thus, if you’ve ever been pregnant or know someone who has, then you know a thing or two about patience and endurance. So, just as an expected mother during the summertime, we wait with hope and expectations of deliverance.
6. Prioritize
What comes to mind when you think of prioritizing? For me, I think of organizing, I think of clearing out the unnecessary and putting things where they actually belong.
Similarly, when we feel tempted to give up, we have to remind ourselves of the necessary. What we need and why we need it? Allow moments of stepping back and placing our thoughts and attitudes in their rightful places.
7. Receive Help
Allowing others to assist us at times isn’t an indication that we’re helpless. When we gladly receive offered help, then we’re more often able to give support to others.
Final Words Of Inspiration
These seven inspirational and powerful tips will help keep you from giving in to the burnout and giving up. As a child of God, we all have a purpose. And even at times when the shadows of defeat appear to be more than expected.
We can claim our right as children of God, which means we are more than conquerors. Though we may find ourselves tempted to give up with these seven tips, I’m sure we’ll rise above to victory.
Pray, walk-in faith, speak life, and of course, it helps to have an optimistic attitude, let patience have its perfect work, prioritize your thoughts and keep in focus what really matters, and allow others to help.
